Colorful Festival Opening Promenad
Hundreds of professional and amateur dancers, singers and musicians started out from central locations in the city to make a big noise and announce the arrival of spring on 1st of April.
As the Parade progressed on Andrássy Avenue, there had been performances at certain stops, as on Liszt Ferenc Square and Kodály körönd, which had celebrated Liszt and his age. When they arrived at Heroes’ Square, the performers joined a large production that involved several art forms.
